Job DescriptionMoody's Analytics is a global risk assessment company that provides financial intelligence and analytical tools supporting our customers' growth, efficiency and risk management objectives. We are currently looking for a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the global Security sub-segment (Law Enforcement, Intelligence and Defense) within the broader Government & Education Segment to play a strategic role within the sales organization's Risk and Accounting Solutions team - the team of industry experts and thought leaders who are directly responsible for driving revenue for Moody's Analytics. You will be responsible for establishing credibility and confidence in Moody's Analytics' products and solutions with prospective clients; you will facilitate solution architecture to address our customers use cases based on Moody's Analytics existing, future and acquired solutions; you will collaborate in the creation of new product offering, its value proposition and architecture, and facilitate market feedback using rapid learning approach to product development; and you will play a critical role in helping define and articulate the growth strategy for Moody's Analytics in the global Government & Education segment with a specific focus on the global Security sub-segment (Law Enforcement, Intelligence and Defense). An SME in Government/Security will have an in-depth understanding of the Government life cycle - including firsthand experience or mastery of one or many of topics such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Visual Analytics, AML, Organized Crime, Financial Crime, Anti-Corruption and Anti-Terrorism. The SME will be responsible to help map Moody's Analytics solution offerings to the Government/Security Segment challenges and initiatives. The SME will interface with internal stakeholders such as product, research, advisory, and customer success teams to align Moody's solutions to the Segment challenges. The SME will be responsible to lead the market outreach as well as advocacy on behalf of Moody's Analytics to the Government/Security Segment. This advocacy may take the form of Government segment-focused presentations, articles and white papers, webinars, and workshops. Importantly, you will represent Moody's Analytics in Government related associations, regulators, and standard setters. Key Responsibilities: Demonstrate credibility and thought leadership in the international Government/Security Segment Demonstrate subject matter expertise in the international Government/Security Sub-segment with at least three of the following focus areas - Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Visual Analytics, AML, Organized Crime, Financial Crime, Anti-Corruption and Anti-Terrorism Develop expertise on the Government/Security relevant Moody's Analytics value proposition (MA-legacy and also BvD-legacy)Articulate and conduct in-depth product feature benefit discussions as they relate to Moody's Analytics Predictive Analytics and Data Solutions product offerings Develop and deliver client-facing tools and presentation materials to support Moody's Analytics sales cycles Lead customer-facing meetings to determine business and methodological requirements and architect solutions based on each client use case and Moody's analytics product suite Gain customer acceptance of Moody's Analytics products by explaining and/or demonstrating improvements in pricing, valuation, financial reporting, strategic asset allocation, and risk management Work closely with the members of the sales team on proposals, Requests for Proposal (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs) responses Document market feedback regarding product experience and desired enhancements Provide thought leadership to the market by writing articles, professional blogs, and presenting at Moody's Analytics and external conferences Identify and document product enhancements, understanding how proposed changes to existing functionality would impact overall product RequirementsMinimum of 10 years of experience in the (preferably international) Government segmentMaster in OSINT, Data Science, Open Source Intelligence Methods and techniques or similar are a plus Hands-on experience using or implementing Moody's Analytics (or other competitor products) Ability to travel up to 50% Ability to work independently under minimal supervision Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to listen to requirements and business problems in order to respond with the appropriate business answer Ability to work in a high-pressure, deadline-oriented environment Ability to influence and gain buy-in from skeptics Public speaking experience, publications, and/or internal lead on training within an organization are a plus Proven experience with complex sales cycles is mandatory Working at Moody'sMoody's (NYSE: MCO) is a global integrated risk assessment firm that empowers organizations to make better decisions.
