Supporting the Most Exciting and Meaningful Missions in the World Alternate Site Manager - AfghanistanAlternate Site ManagerPAE is seeking Alternate Site Manager for a position, pending contract award, performing MPS (Medical Personnel Services) functions at Bagram Airfield (BAF), Kandahar Airfield (KAF), and Hamid Karzai International Airport (HKIA), in support of various health initiatives. The Alternate Site Manager will share responsibility with the Site Manager in performing duties outlined below and any other duties as assigned by Site Manager or Program leadership IAW international, US, Regional Health Command Europe, PWS criteria and any other industry standards/criteria.The Alternate Site Manager shall be available to discuss problem areas and assume full program responsibility as Site Manager when Site Manager is not in theatre or available.The Site Manager shall have:A minimum of eight (8) years of experience in the supervision of Medical Personnel Services.Experienced in government contracts, medical care health requirements, budgeting, performance management - to include the contract and peopleknowledge of all aspects of Medical Personnel Services to include readiness operations, procurement, hiring and placing of qualified personnel, scheduling workload, developing programs and procedures, customer communications/presentations.scheduling, work supervision and quality control for all tasks associated with this Task Order.shares responsibility for all documentation and reporting as required and directed by Site Manager and Program leadership.performs any other duties as assigned by Site Manager and Program leadership.QUALIFICATIONSA minimum of eight years (8) previous experience managing Medical Personnel Services contract, with a minimum of three (3) years experience in a leadership role, preferably at a US Military Installation OCONUS with similar mission/project in scope and nature.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Computer skills.Valid US or local driver's license and US passport.Active Secret Clearance. US citizenship or greencard required due to level of US Government clearance required.Must be able to fluently read, write, speak, and understand English.Ability to successfully pass contract medical requirements and maintain requirements for duration of deployment.Country visa (as required in line with the US Department of State Foreign Clearance Guide).Preferred previous work experience in an austere OCONUS environment with a multi-national workforce.OTHER KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIESExperience providing excellent customer service in supporting contract responsibilities.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment handling multiple tasks at a given time and rapidly adapting to changing priorities and schedules and under pressure of deadlines while maintaining performance standards.Strong analytical capabilities with respect to metrics and process improvement.EDUCATIONBachelor's degree or equivalent experience.WORKING AND LIVING CONDITIONSThis position will be located in an environment with harsh and dangerous working and living conditions. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may regularly be exposed to extreme and austere environment. Employees must be willing and able to perform regular job requirements in this austere, extreme environment. Employees must be willing and able to perform physical activities including, but not limited to, heavy lifting and moving of items, parts, assemblies, and equipment up to the safety regulation maximum; climbing in and out of equipment; crawling; and working outdoors.
