Our training and development program builds successful Financial advisor candidates that have a passion for developing long-term relationships and an interest in financial data, estate planning, business administration, stocks/mutual funds, and more. If you have great communication skills and excel at building relationships, we want to hear from you!Compensation:$85,000 - $115,000 at Plan per yearResponsibilities:Determine cash flow, income to debt ratio, financial status, financial goals, monetary assets, and all other financial situations related to wealth management to help clients define and achieve their financial objectivesSupport clients progress toward their financial goals through strategic product, plan, and investment recommendationsServe as a trusted advisor for new clients acquired through proactive measures to seek, identify, and establish prospectsEmbrace the role of a coachable team player open to continued education and training from other team membersCreate customized financial plans for each client based on life stage, professional circumstances, and financial needsUnderstand the economic markets and use resources to leverage your expertiseBe there in times of need when clients need us mostQualifications:FINRA Series 7/6, SIE, and 63/66 preferred but not requiredA basic understanding of the role of a financial advisor or financial consultant, as well interest in the financial industry and financial products is necessaryBasic knowledge of computer programs including Microsoft Office, financial planning software, CRM systems, and related programs is neededExcellent communication skills, relationship building, and math skills to establish a strong foundation of customer service for all clientsBachelors degree in business administration, finance, or similarly related field desired but not requiredTraits of our most successful Associates:Passion to help peopleIntegrityA successful track recordEnthusiasmSelf-disciplineResilienceGoal-OrientedAbout CompanyAs a mutual company, with no investors or outside owners, New York Life is uniquely aligned with our clients interests and priorities.
