Applicants must hold and maintain an active security clearance; therefore, US Citizenship is required, and TS/SCI candidates are preferred. Responsibilities Provide technical leadership and expertise in the field of networking Building, deploying, and documenting complex networks and systems Troubleshooting and debugging issues that arise from within the network Developing new and innovative ways for our team to improve our performance and product offerings Expert understanding of the OSI model and standard network protocols In-depth knowledge of encryption technologies and standards Extensive experience with Cisco switches and routers Experience with firewalls from multiple vendors Experience with multiple VPN technologies including IPSEC and SSL Configuration of routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP Previous experience with automated deployment and provisioning tools Demonstrated understanding of system engineering processes and the role that information security plays in those processes. Qualifications Experience with MPLS or VXLAN Experience with MACsec Familiarity with Linux Experience mentoring junior team members Possess an active US Government security clearance Education A relevant college degree and six years of relevant experience, or ten years of relevant experience.
