As a Quantitative Analytics & Model Development Analyst within PNC's Retail Real Estate Model Analytics Group, you will be based in Tyson's Corner, Virginia, Cleveland, Ohio, Houston, Texas, Birmingham, Alabama or within the PNC Footprint. Flexible work schedule is available. Key Responsibilities: * Develop, maintain and enhance Residential Real Estate models for use in a variety of critical applications * Collect data from various sources, perform analysis and interpret results to assist in making impactful business decisions * Produce ad-hoc analysis in support of model development or other business needs that require employing statistical methodologies and/or data processing skills * Enhance and maintain model development documentation * Conduct and review the performance monitoring of assigned models and methodologies. Qualifications: * BS/BA in a STEM related degree with two years of related experience. * Masters in a STEM related area with internship experience is a plus. * Strong programming skills in Python, R, SAS or C++. Python is preferred. * Good written and verbal communication skills. * Knowledge of Statistical Methods for model building, Machine Learning, Credit Migration Matrices is a plus * Ability to solve problems while working under pressure, and undertake, execute and deliver on-time multiple simultaneous projects under tight deadlines * A team player with the ability to develop relationships with non-quantitative partners and stakeholders. * Knowledge of PD and LDG is a plus. * Please note, PNC will not sponsor a work visa for this position. Job Description * Under general supervision, performs advanced quantitative analyses and models development to support decision-making by running quantitative strategies. * Analyzes and develops new model frameworks by supporting the line of business. Refines, monitors, and reviews existing models. Conducts on-going communication with model owners and model developers during the course of the review. Works with large data to create models. * Performs quantitative analysis and develops reports. Performs qualitative and quantitative assessments of all aspects of models including theoretical aspects, model design and implementation as well as data quality and integrity. Analyzes complex data and associated quantitative analysis. * Uses quantitative tools and techniques to measure and analyze model risks and reaches conclusions on strengths and limitations of the model. * Prepares and analyzes detailed documents for validation and regulatory compliance, using applicable templates. Work Experience Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 2+ years of relevant professional experience.
