Emergency Center Days/Evenings * Full Time * 7:00 am-7:30 pm Req # 6692 This ED bridge program facilitates experienced nurses without direct ED experience to transition into this setting. The Ideal candidate has at least 2 years of hospital Med/Surg experience. Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing and current RN licensure in the State of Maryland. Active CPR Must have a minimum of two (2) years of Acute Care nursing experience. Example: (Med/Surgery, Telemetry, Critical Care) This program provides a Registered Nurse (RN) an opportunity to be trained in an enhanced career in Emergency Services. There is a minimum of 10-12 weeks in this program that includes classroom and working with preceptor. Must be a to pass Arrhythmia exam by the end of the bridge program. Must obtain ACLS by the end of the bridge program. In addition, obtaining PALS, TNCC & ENPC within six months. RN is expected to complete additional assignments outside of classroom.
