The successful candidate will bring strong administrative, organization, and prioritization skills. Most importantly, this position is responsible for HR administration including personnel documentation and the coordination of compliance matters.Responsibilities Coordinate new hire onboarding initiatives and paperwork including offer letters, employee agreements, background & reference checks, I-9 forms, and payroll paperwork Process PTO requests, workers compensation claims, and accommodations requests in coordination with HR Director Assist with recruitment efforts for all full-time & part-time positions to include scheduling interviews, checking references, and other candidate follow-up Assist in and execute departure process (email communication, exit interview, final timesheet coordination, etc.) Conduct new hire orientation in meetings Field general HR questions from employees and address/elevate as necessary Keep a constant pulse on the employee morale, looking for patterns and recurring problems, and escalate problems and potential solutions to the General Manager Support and coordinate ongoing dealership projects and other special initiatives as assigned Requirements 0-2 years in human resources or a related field, automotive dealership experience is a plus Advanced experience with Excel Professionalism while working with confidential information Communicate and interact with all levels of personnel High school diploma or equivalent required Manages time and resources effectively through strong organization, multi-tasking, and time management Ability to pass pre-employment background screening, MVR review, and drug test Must have a valid driver's licenseWe are an equal opportunity employer and prohibit discrimination/harassment withoutregard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protectedveteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristicprotected by federal, state or local laws.
