Founded in 2007, Initiate Government Solutions (IGS) a Woman Owned Small Business, specializes in healthcare information solutions with an emphasis on technology spectrum. IGS partners with government and commercial clients to tackle the most challenging healthcare information technology issues including large scale implementations, business informatics, analytics, and electronic health record support. IGS is currently recruiting for the position of a full-time, Full Stack Web Developer to support our work with the National Library of Medicine (NLM). Responsibilities and Duties (Included but not limited to) Front end development Development of analytics interfaces Excellent understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 Experience with relational database modeling and data migration Understanding of accessibility and security compliance Experience with version control systems like Git or SVN Minimum Qualifications BS in Design, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field or equivalent experience 5 years of Full stack Web applications development, 3 years using python and Django Expertise in front-end technologies, including JavaScript, CSS3 and HTML5 and third-party libraries Knowledge of server-side programming languages including Net, Java, Ruby and Python Familiarity with DBMS technology, including SQLServer, Oracle, MongoDB and MySQL and caching mechanisms Excellent verbal and written communication skills and team player Including knowledge of UIUX and basic prototype design Experience working with servers with a solid background in Linux Ability to obtain or maintain an NLM Public Trust Preferred Qualifications and Core Competencies Must be a self-motivator with ability to work remotely as part of a team, or independently with little supervision or direction An NLM Public Trust Benefits Initiate Government Solutions offers competitive compensation and a strong benefits package including comprehensive medical, dental and vision care, matching 401K, paid time off, flexible spending accounts, life insurance, disability coverage, and other benefits that help provide financial protection for you and your family.
