We are looking to hire a dynamic analytics pro to lead the Data Intelligence practice for one of our largest and fastest growing accounts a Fortune 200 company, for whom we run a multi-million-dollar, multi-channel, broad and complex content marketing program. You will be a critical, client-facing voice and one of the leading figures on the account, working closely with the head of account services, the creative director, and a data intelligence colleague. Youll oversee the application of analytics and drive performance analysis. You will raise the level of our weekly, monthly and quarterly performance reports, build and maintain a variety of marketing dashboards, leverage insight to guide paid and organic campaigns, and use performance data to inspire new content ideas. You will play an active role in continuing to evolve the account to a more data-driven strategy and take ownership in the success of the program overall. This role can be based in any of our four cities: Chicago, DC, NYC or Phoenix. This position is for you if youre a curious, analytical person, fascinated by marketing and consumer behavior, with a compulsion to understand why. You see a puzzle and you feel you must solve it. You can make data sing for right brain people. You have a point of view about marketing, digital, content and media. Youre comfortable in a crowd: presenting to high profile clients, advocating with other internal stakeholders for your ideas, and displaying the tenacity to make incremental improvements everywhere you look. Responsibilities Contribute to performance analysis primarily on the agencys biggest account, but potentially others as well. There is the opportunity to expand your expertise to other accounts as you grow. Responsible for weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports, and building new dashboards as needed, to feed insights to client teams to inspire new ideas and recommendations for content and marketing strategy optimization. Monitor and analyze data from multiple sources, including performance analytics, keyword research/trends, industry trends, social listening, email/CRM metrics, and competitive research metrics. Partner with client teams to develop and execute strategies and tactics to optimize campaigns based on research and analysis of performance metrics. Support the creation and execution of custom attribution strategies and models for content marketing, Ecommerce, B2B, and lead generation programs. Learn, teach, and get the most out of the agencys new BI stack (Funnel, Snowflake, and Sigma), in which weve just built out dashboards. Requirements 3+ years of analytics experience, with at least 3 in a marketing discipline. Expertise in Excel required. Expertise in Web Analytics platforms required (eg, Google Analytics, Adobe Marketing Cloud, Adobe Analytics, SiteCatalyst, Ominiture, WebTrends, IBM Coremetrics, Unica, IBM Digital Analytics). In-depth knowledge of ad platforms to extract data (eg , Facebook, Twitter, Google Ads, etc.). Proficiency in analytics tag auditing or web developer QA/testing tools preferred, such as Charles, Fiddler, WASP, ObservePoint. Experience with tag management solutions, such as Tealium, Google Tag Manager, Ensighten. Experience with A/B testing tools preferred, such as Adobe, Google, and Optimizely. Good applied statistical skills, such as distributions, statistical testing, and regression, preferred. Flexible, adaptable, easy to work with, and able to balance a variety of different projects. Eager, ambitious, and highly curious. Great communication skills, both written and verbal, and good with clients. Nice to Haves Proficiency in using query languages, such as SQL and RegEx. Experienceand proficiency with ETL tools for structuring data in a relational database so that it can be accurately queried by a data visualization tool. Bonus points for experience using an ETL with performance marketing data and/or Funnel.io. Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, with bonus points for experience with Sigma.
