Belvoir, VAImmediate OpeningJob PurposeGCubed, Inc is seeking a qualified and skilled Network / Systems Engineer II that can provide GET TNOC analyst support to US Army INSCOM customers and Government staff.Essential Functions of the Job Perform administration duties for local and wide area networks, including routers, switches, hubs, gateways, access points, network interface cards, networking cables, network bridges, modems, adapters, firewalls and other related network hardware. Integrate new technologies into new and existing systems, including the transition and migration of corporate systems. Isolate and resolve complex hardware and software problems involving applications, operating systems, hardware, communications infrastructure, or any combination thereof. Provide Tier II TNCC and ITOC customer service support to US ARMY INSCOM customers. Responsible for providing software support to CISCO routers and switches, Dell PCs, Sun Servers, Juniper routers, In-Line Encryption (INE) devices, network security appliances and other related network hardware. Identify and recommend mission hardware and mission support solutions based on research and analysis of new technologies. Report to management on progress of installations of hardware upgrades or changes. Recommend improvements to communications infrastructure. Update system hardware to ensure system currency (as defined by OEMs and industry best practices, and Federal/DoD mandates). Weekly Activity Report (WAR) detailing the work accomplished and any objectives that are being targeted for the follow on week. Format, day and time of delivery will be directed by the respective Site Lead. Travel Reports defining the purpose of travel, key personnel contacted, executive overview, other items, and action items and impacts will be completed and submitted within 4 business days of completed travel.Required Qualifications Must possess at minimum a TS/SCI Clearance. Bachelors degree in technology related field preferred, but NOT required. Baseline certification: Security +CE, GDEC, SSCP, or CCNA-Security Computing Environment certification: CCNA or CCENT 5 years supporting, configuring, operating, and troubleshooting networks Experience in the various standards for transport to include DWDM and requisite routing protocols to include but not limited to BGP, EIGRP, MPLS, OSPF, and LISP.
