Minimum Clearance Required to Start:Top SecretJob Description:The role of the Technical Director is to develop and administer the technical vision for the PEAK Program. The candidate will provide the technical vision to a multi-disciplinary team of engineers that are helping solve the most critical cyber challenges for the United States Government. The Technical Director works with customers, Program Management, and the Delivery Manager to perform a wide array of responsibilities including the development and refinement of system and software architecture to support mission requirements. The applicant will be the senior most subject matter expert from Parsons for the project while engaging the end-users and customers. In addition to managing the technical execution the candidate will directly interface with program management to develop budgets and ensure activities stay within scope and on schedule. The ideal candidate thrives on being challenged and searches out opportunity to grow market share.This is accomplished by focusing on the following functional areas and objectives:Program ExecutionEngage with all technical teams to provide technical insight and potential technical solutions for challenging problemsUnderstand industry trends that drive and impact cyber operations, data visualization, data analytics, server systems, virtualization, cloud, software, and networking technologiesProvide direction on development for the team, answering any questions posed by customers and end-usersDisplay strong technical skills within Software Development, Systems Engineering, Protocol Networking, Network and Cyber Security, and RF TechnologyEnsure all engineering aspects are executed effectivelyEnsure requirements are executed, tested, and delivered on-timeCustomer SatisfactionEngage with all customers to understand their current and future technical challengesSpend time in customer meetings at customer site and at Parsons locationsBe a Parsons SME and technical interface resource to the customer for all areas and become intimate with their CONOPAlways be ready to present work, or demonstrate a project to the customerDevelop and deliver technical roadmap for future program and product direction to the customerScope, refine and prioritize requirements from multiple stakeholders to meet mission needsSupport customer in identifying gaps in mission support and developing strategies to fillCollaborationWork across the developer and test teams to observe and help improve the processes where applicableCollaborate with other cyber groups around Parsons to gain insights into trends impacting their workConnect current solutions with other teams to provide uniform interfaces and speed up new design effortsFacilitate demonstrations with the proper attendees to introduce in-house technologies to the proper developersTechnologyHardware NetworkingProtocol NetworkingElasticsearchBashGit, Gitlab, Gitbucket, or BitbucketJira, ConfluenceMavennodejsDockerKubernetesHadoopLinux (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu)Languages / FrameworksJavaScalaPythonHTML/CSSYAMLXMLJSONTypeScriptBasic Qualifications:Expertise with 2 to 3 programming languages (preferably C++ and Python)Experience with RF domainExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalTop Secret clearance required, TS/SCI preferredRelevant certifications are a plus: CISSP, Sec+, CEH, or any Cloud Computing certificationsThe anticipated annualized full time target compensation (median) for this position is: $190,000.00.Benefits for this position include: medical, dental, vision, paid time off and 401K.Must be able to obtain, maintain and/or currently possess a security clearance.Full time
