Reporting to the Technical Director, Implementation Services, you will serve as a project manager for client installations in a data center, raised floor environment. You will work cross-functionally with Operations, Sales, and customers as you coordinate the installation of equipment and infrastructure within a data center, colocation environment.This will typically include the installation of racks, electrical distribution, cages, containment systems, and data cable infrastructure.It will be your mission to ensure these installations are completed on time, on budget and error-free. You will work on multiple simultaneous projects across several sites on our Ashburn, Virginia campus using standard project and construction management best practices to ensure all installations are completed on time, within budget, and error-free. To meet the basic qualification for this role, you will have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship. In addition, to be a good fit for the Associate Implementation Manager opportunity, you will have: A bachelors degree, preferably with a technical focus (eg, Engineering, Tele Comm, Computer Science, etc.), or the equivalent combination of education and experience 3-5 years of experience in operations, data center construction, and/or in the telecommunications/ engineering industry Excellent communication, interpersonal, oral and written presentation, and customer service skills Strongly detail oriented with multitasking skills A proactive self-starter with a sense of urgency, who is flexible and can work within and meet deadlines Advanced level proficiency in the use of MS Productivity tools, including Word, Access, Excel Digital Realty: Where the cloud lives and business thrives.
