Come be a part of the team that will transform the way cybersecurity is delivered!Job DescriptionMembers of the Implementation Engineering group at iboss form an elite technical team that works very closely with new customers to ensure deployments are executed with perfection. This team is also called upon to solve the seemingly unsolvable problems that crop up from time to time. ResponsibilitiesBe a technical subject matter expert on iboss cloud and appliance products and the underlying infrastructure of the ecosystemWork with customers and sales engineers to design, implement, and troubleshoot business solutions in complex environmentsPerform product installations (primarily remote), initial configurations, and product trainingAssist with technical support escalation requestsEnsure customer support issues are resolved in accordance with SLAsCreate and manage internal and external product and training documentationAttend and present at tradeshows and onsite training seminarsQualificationsThe ability to communicate effectively and efficiently to customers over the phone is critical3+ years of experience designing and supporting multilayer IP networks; routing and switching5+ years of experience with network security; firewalls, intrusion prevention, risk assessment, pen testing, content filtering, PKI, SSL/TLS3+ years of experience managing large (> 1k seat) Windows and Macworkstation deployments5+ years of experience managing Windows Server and Red Hat Linux server environments; Expert level with Linux5+ years of experience managing DNS; Microsoft and BindExperience with Virtualization and specifically VDI implementationsExperience with acquiring and analyzing packet capturesExperience/familiarity with managing enterprise deployments of iOS, Android, and Chromebook devicesRequirementsA degree in engineering or networking is preferred; MIS graduate is a plusSolid understanding of networking, server, and web technologiesExpert-level Linux knowledge; Red Hat is a plusExperience architecting complex solutionsExperience with IT management products and servicesDomain expertise with IT operations, application management and/or security/compliance is desirableSome experience with network directories is desirableFluency in English is required and fluency in Spanish is a plusBenefitsMedical, Dental and Vision insurance which is available to qualifying domestic partners and stepchildren401K with company matchPaid Time Off (PTO)Company paid holidaysOptimistic, supportive, and FUN work environmentFantastic company eventsFree catered lunch every FridayFree snacksFree on-site gym membershipCorporate discount at local gyms and clubsCommuter BenefitsThe duties and responsibilities described above are essential functions of the job.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, status as a veteran or as an individual with a disability.This position is not eligible for sponsorship of work visas
