Senior Manager, HR Technology - Talent Acquisition Systems - Opportunity for Working Remotely

As a key member of the HR Technology organization, you will manage a talented geographically dispersed team that design and implement Talent Acquisition solutions in Workday Recruiting, in addition to key integrations with other tools that support sourcing, referral, immigration, relocation and engagement programs. In collaboration with the Director of HR Technology for Compensation, Benefits and Talent Acquisition systems, you will influence and partner with various cross-functional teams to help support and contribute to the associated vision/strategy, optimize processes/programs and drive value/experience. Cultivate an environment of trust and enablement with team members to support their development, establish their alignment to projects and facilitate their ongoing success. Establish an understanding of key programs, projects and enhancements that drive and impact the digital people experience of our Talent Acquisition systems, tools, and processes. Develop a sustainable and effective approach to engaging with stakeholders, prioritizing deliverables, and managing resources. What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis? Team Management (40% of time) Provide direction, coaching and goal setting for team member's career growth and development. Ensure team is appropriately trained, resourced, and supported. Provide clarity on roles and responsibilities, project priorities and company initiatives. Drive strong level of customer service amongst team, encouraging a collaborative and user experience mindset. Provide recommendations and decisions on performance, pay, promotion, rewards, and recognition. HR Technology Projects (40% of time) Oversee high-visibility programs or projects by providing direction for areas of ownership and engagement with various stakeholder groups. Meet regularly with key partners and stakeholders to identify upcoming projects and understand collaboration opportunities. Engage with 3rd party consultants to supplement internal resources when necessary and gather business/technical requirements related to system configuration. Participate with project teams for systems implementations or upgrades by engaging in some/all aspects of the implementation lifecycle as required: business requirement gathering, business process review, project management, testing lead/participant, documentation, communication, cutover, etc. Oversee application change control processes. Responsibilities include solution design review and approval, monitoring testing processes/progress and providing final approval for implementation in Production. Drive enhancements with the team via brainstorms, system reviews and networking with other customers and product managers. HR Technology Strategy and Roadmap Planning (20%) In partnership with the HR Technology Director and Talent Acquisition Leaders, drive the technology roadmap, reviewing and adjusting the roadmap as needed. Responsibilities include recommendations for roadmap development, soliciting input and feedback, requesting and scheduling projects according to available budget, resources, etc. Ensure ROI process and metrics are outlined in framework, and the roadmap proactively addresses other business group needs for employee data and interfaces. Stay apprised of other dependent programs, projects, and initiatives internal/external to the HR organization. Effectively support relationships with application vendors and outsourced partners including participating in vendor selection programs and ongoing relationship management and partnership. Keep current on key HR systems technology and trends; network with other companies and professional organizations to stay abreast of best practices in HR technology and the digital people experience space. What is the leadership like for this role? What is the structure and culture of the team like? The hiring manager for this role is Olivia Dunne, Director, HR Technology. Olivia has worked for VMware for over 10 years and during that time was a member of the Talent Acquisition team in recruitment and operational aspects, before moving to the HR Technology organization 4 years ago to manage HR Systems for Compensation and Benefits initially and now also Talent Acquisition. Olivia's management philosophy is to enable and support her team, encouraging collaboration and creative thinking, in order for them to do their best work. This role is fully remote and can be done anywhere in the United States.
