Job DescriptionThe Common Engineering Systems Engineering Process & Metrics team member supports the development, improvement, and maintenance of the RI&S Systems Engineering process, metrics, and cost estimation activities. The Systems Engineering Process & Metrics Team establishes key elements of strategic plans towards the achievement of systems engineering performance results across all programs and product lines as well as developing new processes, standards, and operational metrics. This position reports directly to the Raytheon Intelligence & Space (RIS) Systems Engineering Process and Metrics Lead.Responsibilities include:Develop and maintain Systems Engineering processes and strategy Develop and maintain Systems Engineering metrics and strategyConsult and review program process and Systems Engineering metrics tailoringDevelop and maintain process and Systems Engineering metrics learning Provide guidance on Systems Engineering metrics data analysis, validation, and correctionSupport Product Line initiatives/needs with Systems Engineering metrics data and analysisProvide cost estimation and rational for level of effort bid support, including disposition of historical dataRequired Skills: Strong analytical abilities, critical thinking, and creative problem solvingEffective written and oral communication skills 8 years of engineering experienceDesired Skills: Experience with Agile or DevOpsRecent experience as a senior or lead engineerExperience using requirements management tools (DOORS)Advanced knowledge of Excel or PowerBIExperience with the application of program execution metricsSkill in writing and reviewing process work instruction documentsKnowledge in process modeling or process deploymentExperience with project management approaches and tools Practical knowledge of systems development lifecycle modelsCertification as a systems engineering professional by the International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE)Experience performing engineering cost estimation Required EducationBachelor degree required ; Science degree (STEM degree) or related scientific discipline preferredIn compliance with Colorado?s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role is $87,000 to $188,500; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate?s work experience, education/training, and key skillsBenefits offered: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, EAP, education assistance, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays 185856Raytheon is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
