The DSP ensures that human, civil, and legal rights of all people are protected by advocating, teaching, promoting dignity, and reasonable risk and following mandatory reporting guidelines for the people supported. The Direct Support Professional for Gallagher Day Services will assist clients in daily activities in our Day Program and Community Center, as well as, participate in community outings.Gallagher Services provides care for the adults with intellectual and development disabilities, who reside in one of our programs throughout Baltimore County, Baltimore City, Harford County, and Anne Arundel County.We are currently looking for a Direct Support Professional. The hours for this position are the following: Monday-Friday: 8 AM-4 PM The DSP Day Program Responsibilities: Provide direct care and supports the medical and social needs of the people receiving services. Transport participants to and from Day Programs and act as an aide to the driver, when required.
