Strategic Endeavor LLC Position Title: On site Security Technician Salary: To Be Determined Job Location: Rockville, Maryland Clearance: Able to obtain or Current Top Secret or "Q"A' clearance Job Duties Security technician personnel are responsible for servicing and installing security equipment, such as IP video surveillance, access control, intercoms, and perimeter IDS. The technician will work on their own with little to no supervision at times.Installing maglocks, strikes, intercoms and other locking hardware. Installation and troubleshooting of IP cameras. Completing scheduled preventative maintenance on all security equipment. The technician will pull cable, climb ladders and operate lifts. Perform other duties as assigned. Systems such as: Milestone Surveillance Hirsch Velocity PACS Bosch IDS Job Requirements Candidate must be a US Citizen. Candidate must be able to speak and write fluently in English. Preferred candidate will have a secret clearance Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a US Government Security Clearance at the "Q"A' level (Top Secret). Candidates without a secret clearance will be considered and must have the background to obtain a secret clearance which will be initiated if hired Candidate must possess a minimum of 3 year of operationsandmaintenanceservice for eachof thefollowing systems: CCTV, IDSandPACS. Candidate must demonstrate ability to keep accurate and detailed records Candidate will work an 8-hour day and some overtime. Candidate must be willing to work nights and weekends for special projects. Candidate must have reliable transportation.
