Description:

Location: Holy Cross Health has two hospitals and four healthcare centers all a short driving distance from Washington DC and Baltimore, MD.

The Colleague and Labor Relations Specialist will:

A. Counsel and advises managers regarding employee performance and discipline management�����������������

B.��Provide counseling and support to HCH staff regarding work-related issues��������������������

C.� Conduct research and investigations regarding employee relations issues

D. Provide guidance to leadership regarding sensitive colleague relations matters and complaints.

E. Will be responsible for other related duties as assigned

F. Will travel to Holy Cross locations when applicable to attend meetings or conduct investigations.


Minimum licensure/certification required (if applicable):

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related field, or equivalent in work experience.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Required:

Prior experience in employee relations highly preferred along with demonstrated experience conducting sensitive investigations.

Demonstrated ability to provide human resources consulting and leadership.

Three years human resources or related work experience.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Must be able to travel to off-site locations, as necessary.
