Job Description: Our client, a consulting and government-contracting firm, is looking to hire a Full-Time Recruiter to join their Human Resources team. This role works closely with Senior Management and Project Leads to research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the organization. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 2 years' experience working in government contracting or staffing as a Recruiting Coordinator and be ready to advance into a recruiter role. Essential Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process. Attends recruitment stand-ups to discuss priorities and planning; attends weekly Business Development and Proposal meetings to discuss current and future staffing needs. Collaborates with Sr. Management and/or Hiring Managers, and Human Resources to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria. Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization. Creates job posting from approved job description and posts position on Career Page and other recruitment boards. Screens applications and resumes and selects qualified candidates for initial phone screening. Schedules and conducts initial phone screen and escalates recommended candidates to appropriate manager for second level interview consideration. Works with Sr. Managers and/or Hiring Managers on interview coordination over MS Teams or Zoom (video enabled); oversees preparation of interview questions. Assists with the interview process, as needed, including attending interviews with Hiring Manager and other requested team members. Collaborates with Human Resources Generalist and Hiring Manager during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, communicating company benefits, start dates, and other pertinent details. Checks candidates' professional references and summarizes feedback to Hiring Managers Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies. Attends and participates in college job fairs and recruiting sessions as requested. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications- Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or related field required. At least two years working as a Recruiting Coordinator and supporting all recruitment functions (ie, ATS support, job description development, initial resume review, candidate scheduling, reference checks). Understanding of government contracting proposal process and contingent offers as it relates to proposal submission and potential contract awards (preferred) Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics. Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles. Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment. Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.
