Minimum qualifications: * Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience * 8 years of combined operations management and workplace service experience with an emphasis on facilities, hospitality, corporate services, property management or equivalent office management experience * Ability to travel across the offices in your region, as well as travel to leadership summits Preferred qualifications: * Master's degree * Industry-related certifications (CFM, FMA) * Extensive experience developing and managing budgets (including capital budget justification) with strong financial, contract management, and purchasing skills * Proven record of effecting strategic change and initiatives where prudent and scaling this work on a broader level * Strong contract management expertise (Contract management includes ensuring compliance with the terms and conditions, as well as documenting and agreeing on any changes or amendments that may arise during its implementation or execution) * Advanced people performance management and leadership skills, with proven ability to influence at all levels and lead team through change management About the job At Google, we aim to foster Googley work environments that are collaborative, friendly and fun. The Real Estate and Workplace Services (REWS) team creates inspiring spaces and innovative services that bring Google's culture and values to life. We build and maintain all aspects of what keeps our Googley workspaces operating seamlessly across multiple cities and regions globally. We also manage the industry-leading services that help make Google a great place to work -- from how we design healthy and collaborative workspaces, create energizing food experiences, provide convenient transportation and fitness options, to delivering inclusive environments where Google and our employees can thrive. Responsibilities * Lead a team responsible for all aspects of facilities services and operations in a portfolio that spans the Mid-Atlantic, South and Texas in the US. * Manage service delivery across functions, departments and businesses. * Work in a matrixed organization, building trust in difficult situations, getting buy-in and consensus from leaders with diverse opinions, driving decision making where trade-offs are required, and keeping information circulating so that REWS can grow with Google. * Manage, develop and motivate a team of Facilities Managers who are responsible for the operations of a subset of buildings and facilities in each site. * Provide support and partnership to help the client-facing REWS teams solve complex workspace challenges.#06022021
