You will communicate regularly with school administration & staff, as well as programparticipants, parents and Y staff. You'll make sure that the Before & AfterSchool Enrichment curriculum is instructed as planned and will supervise allpeople resources. As a Site Manager, you'll contribute to the Y movement byproviding enrichment activities to youth and peace of mind to their parents and guardians by knowing their children are safe while they are at work.This work is right for you if you have:An interest in the well-being of school age children, enthusiasm, patience, good humor, good judgment and a good spiritThe ability to clearly communicate and effectively listen to children parents/guardians, members, school administration and other Y associatesA high school diploma, certificate of high school equivalence or completed courses for credit from a college or universityYour 45 training hours in School Age CurriculumYour 45 training hours in Growth and Development1 year of experience working under supervision in a school age environmentCompleted Office of Child Care licensing requirements to include: ADA, communication, health and safety, medication administration and emergency preparationThe ability to be flexible and work at multiple locationsThe ability to work between the hours of 7am - 6pmThe ability to work up to 40 hours and an 8 hour shiftThank you for considering working for the Y in Central Maryland.
