Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history.NG Space Systems is looking for a Manager, Program Level 3 to provide leadership as Deputy PM to the Metis Program supporting the Integrated National Systems Business Unit in the fast-growing Payloads and Ground Systems Division. The selected candidate will report to Director, Programs in the Mission Exploitation Operating Unit and serve as a key member of the leadership team for the evolving MEX OU Portfolio. The primary objective will be the delivery of all contractual requirements on cost and on schedule, while achieving all technical requirements and capabilities. The individual will lead a matrixed-functional team of Mission Leads and Product Leads aligned to common program performance goals for multiple Customer's through inception of idea to award and completion of scope. The successful candidate will be assisting the Director, Programs in growth opportunities and as such, this position requires a comprehensive understanding of restricted and DoD customer communities, progr am management skills, proven strategic planning and business execution capabilities, as well as the ability to work collaboratively across the enterprise. The selected candidate must have a comprehensive knowledge of program management standards, policies and guidelines. The selected individual must be able to interact with and influence executive level management and customer's and communicate effectively with both oral and written presentations.Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:- Development of Customer and stakeholder relationships and cultivation of Customer intimacy- Adherence to all internal processes for Program Management- Identify continuous improvement opportunities for increased efficiency across Mission's and Product area- Manage and monitor the working of the various functional organizations supporting the Program- Development and adherence to budget baselines- Development and delivery of presentations to Customers, leadership and program stakeholders- Proposal development / capture planning and strategy- Creation, review and finalization of the program Statement of Work- Establishment of schedule milestones and spend-plan- Improve the operational systems, processes and policies in support of the organizations mission - includes management reporting, information flow and management, business development process and organizational planning- Support the various internal and external program reviews throughout the organization.- Conduct regular meeting with team to discuss issues, concerns and resolution- Work in compliance with company policies and procedures- Partner with business development and business management to maximize investments- Closely coordinates with Quality and Mission Engineering, Security, IT and Facilities to ensure efficient support of the organization.This management role will require you to complete an assessment as part of the application process. An additional 4 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.- Experience leading the performance of tasks on schedule, at cost and achieving all requirements as either project lead, integrated program team or cost account manager.- Minimum of 12 years of engineering experience- Background in systems and/or software engineering- Effective communications skills both verbal and written- Current Top Secret/SCI Clearances, with SSBI adjudicated within the past 6 years- Understanding of technical, cost, schedule impacts on a program and be able to adjudicate at PRAs, ECP signoffs, and assess the technical impacts- Understanding of business development and capture strategiesPreferred Qualifications: - Demonstrated leadership ability- Knowledge of MEX OU business portfolio and experience in organizational effectiveness and operations implementing best practices- Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style- Excels at operating at a fast pace, diverse environment- Open to direction and collaborative work style; commitment to get the job completedSalary Range: 166100 - 249100Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
