Join us and start doing your life's best work.(sm) This individual contributor will be responsible for planning, executing, measuring and optimizing B2B demand generation campaigns for the Optum Medical Benefit Management business. This position will maintain a working knowledge of assigned product line solutions, sales goals, key differentiators, and competitive landscape. This individual will partner with the sales team to understand prospect perceptions, the sales cycle and the pipeline in order to effectively support the sales process, drive opportunity pipeline, and increase customer retention. Travel once COVID restrictions are lifted possible 0-10%. Schedule Monday-Friday standard business hours. No nights, no weekends and no holidays! You'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from within the US as you take on some tough challenges. Primary Responsibilities: Develop and execute B2B marketing programs and projects for assigned product lines with support and guidance of more senior team members Gather input from product, sales, and marketing partners to plan marketing programs, events, and campaigns to measurably create and influence B2B selling opportunities. Manage projects and processes with Creative, marketing operations, and subject matter experts to develop presentations, thought leadership, webinars, sales collateral, digital content, and other assets needed for outbound marketing programs, events, and sales enablement. Gather marketing results and data. Develop reports and communications with recommendations for continuous improvement. Prepare and participate in sales enablement training and communications Gather and analyze market research and competitive intelligence. Improve external positioning via enhancements to marketing content and campaigns. Attend cross functional meetings to provide updates, results, and status of key initiatives. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in marketing or a related field 3 years of B2B marketing experience 3 years of experience developing marketing content, sales collateral, and outbound marketing campaigns 3 years of experience managing multiple programs and projects simultaneously Strong communication and influencing skills with the ability and desire to work directly with sales Demonstrated success planning, executing and measuring marketing campaigns in a complicated, matrixed organization. Proficiency in Microsoft office suite including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint Ability to be flexible and work with ambiguity Demonstrated attention to detail, highly organized High level of organizational skills required with experience managing and prioritizing many deliverables simultaneously Strong written and verbal presentation skills required; able to assemble and present information clearly to executive stakeholders Excellent communication skills, an ability to be concise, and strong instincts on how to communicate most effectively with partners/requestors, such as when to reach out by email vs by phone Build relationships able to build and maintain working with many different cross-functional teams Customer service acumen, the ability to navigate high expectations from requestors Ability to navigate considerable ambiguity; asking questions in a partnership-forward way, knowing when to consult vs when to answer questions independently Proven ability to manage multiple priorities from inception to completion Demonstrated effective problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications: Understanding of typical B2B sales processes, opportunity pipeline management and reporting Previous experience supporting more complex solutions with 12+ month sales cycles Experience with Salesforce.com and marketing automation platforms Previous experience with Account Based Marketing (ABM) tools and techniques Careers with Optum.
