Regional Lending Managers are responsible for supporting the field leadership and Financial Advisors (FAs) through the analysis and advice of Wells Fargo lending and banking products and services. Responsible for managing, effectively coaching, monitoring, and mentoring field-based Regional Lending Consultants throughout their assigned territory. Responsible for business development around key products and services that include: securities backed lending, residential real estate, HNW lending, business banking, commercial lending, practice management, client acquisition and productivity tools. Develops and implements business strategy on key priorities for region and team. Leads and executes on lending and banking activities at the regional and market level, coaches and develops the team to help clients and hit key business objectives and ensures team members are working collaboratively across WFA and WFC to deepen client relationships through lending and banking solutions to assigned markets. Partners on client/prospect calls with FAs serving as specialist on Lending & Banking products and services and meets regularly with all levels of WFA Branch leadership to develop and executes on strategies for key clients. Acts as the subject matter expert for all escalated FA and Branch inquiries and assists with complex lending structures. Accomplish management responsibilities which include sourcing and hiring talented employees, providing ongoing coaching and feedback, recognizing and developing employees, identifying and managing risks, and completing daily management tasks. Required Qualifications 6+ years of financial services experience 2+ years of leadership experience Successfully completed FINRA Series 7 exam to qualify for immediate registration (or FINRA recognized equivalents) Desired Qualifications 5+ years of brokerage industry experience 5+ years of business development experience Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Advanced Microsoft Office skills Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand, environment while balancing multiple priorities Good analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy Knowledge and understanding of financial planning: tools and advisory services Knowledge and understanding of financial services consumer lending products Ability to create and deliver dynamic presentations Experience training and coaching customer-facing team members Experience partnering with full-service financial advisors and branch managers on alternative products and service solutions Job Expectations Registration for FINRA Series 63 (or 66) or equivalent must be completed within 90 days of hire date. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted. Obtaining and/or maintaining appropriate Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) license(s) is required for ongoing employment in this position. In addition state registration, specific product licenses or SAFE licensing may apply. Additional requirements include meeting enhanced financial fitness and criminal background standards. Wells Fargo will initiate the FINRA review process at the time of offer acceptance. Individuals in Loan Originator (LO) positions must meet the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau qualification requirements and comply with related Wells Fargo policies. The LO qualification requirements include meeting applicable financial responsibility, character, general financial fitness and criminal background standards. A current credit report will be used to assess your financial responsibility and credit fitness, however, a credit score is not included as part of the evaluation.
