Responsibilities
As a/an Financial Operations Analyst, you will:
- Prepare, analyze, and evaluate financial data for the Division and/or OFS.
- Prepare various trend analyses and identify unfavorable trends, situations, ratios, and deviations from standards, etc., as a result of financial analyses conducted of the various financial data for the Division and or branch.
- Provide assistance to lower-graded employees of the Division or serves as a project leader in developing requirements for accounting systems by having responsibility for interaction between other Division managers, Office of Finance and Budget staff, and Housing.
- Conduct cost-benefit analyses, special studies, surveys, inquiries, and evaluations.
- Prepare oral and written reports and presentations; prepare graphs and charts that present clearly, concisely, and effectively the analyses, evaluations, and studies performed.

Qualifications
You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
Specialized experience is one (1) year of experience at the GS-11 level, or equivalent, which is directly related to the position as listed in this announcement and has equipped the candidate with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of the position successfully. Specialized experience is defined as:
- Analyzing financial data on mortgage loans; AND
- Participating in reviews designed to help identify ways to improve an organization's operating efficiency and effectiveness; AND
- Providing customer service to external clients involving mortgage loans.
Experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service . One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. To ensure full credit for your work experience, please indicate dates of employment by month/day/year, and indicate number of hours worked per week on your resume.
