The Junior LAN Technician I will be responsible for:

•Operational Support: Provide Service Operations response and support for all requests, incidents and access related efforts performed on site at any of the organization's locations.
•Assist with the installation, configuration, upgrade, and overall provide day-to-day administration and support required for the AHC compute environment. •Support the administration and configuration of end point devices to include laptops, tablets, desktops, peripherals, and clinical devices.
•Conducts site surveys, assesses and document current site equipment, configurations and user requirements.
•Perform access management and provisioning for application and system access and troubleshoot access related issues.
•Ability to take a flexible work schedule and be on call after hours.
•Implementation and Transition: Follow standard operating procedures in the implementation and transition of software and hardware deployments. •Facilitate conversations across AHC employees, vendors and other support teams while implementing or upgrading devices and software.
•Follow change and release management processes.
•Work with the Project Management Office on device refresh and general device deployment activities.
•Participate in the creation of detailed work breakdown structures for the implementation of automated and manual provisioning configurations

Required Qualifications: Competencies:

• Good understanding of Microsoft technologies including Windows 10, as well as Android and Apple technologies for mobile devices
• Good understanding of computer hardware and peripherals, and computer systems characteristics, features, and integration capabilities
• General knowledge of information systems, hardware platforms, enterprise software applications, and outsourced systems management
• Mission driven individual with strong values that align with the AHC mission
• Ability to work in a fast-paced critical patient care driven organization
• Customer Service orientated individual with strong oral and written communication skills who is exceptionally self-motivated and directed with a desire to learn and adapt to new technologies
• Must be able to critically think and present arguments in an articulate manner to both technical and non-technical audiences

Required Qualifications: Education and Experience

•Bachelor's degree in the field of computer science or information technology is preferred
•A+ Certification or similar certification preferred
•ITILv3 Foundations is preferred
