Principal Associate, Program Management & Implementation Readiness

The Enterprise Risk Management team is driving towards this goal by building a system to manage risk for the enterprise. We're on a mission to create a platform that embeds risk management into the business practices of the organization, democratizes risk through simple, intuitive interfaces, and provides intelligent insights for proactive action.

We are seeking an expert in Program Management and Implementation Readiness to drive efficiency and coordination within our team and prepare over 4,000 users to be ready and excited to leverage this new system. As a key change agent for the team and our users, you'll create structure to keep us well managed and get our users ready and excited for solutions we deliver to them.

Responsibilities:

Ensure coordination within our delivery team and with our stakeholders to keep us focused on the right actions
  • Oversee and manage workstreams that cut across development, user readiness, and design activities that keep our train operating in an efficient and coordinated fashion
  • Track program status and manage risks, impediments, and decisions to keep the team moving forward in a well managed way


Implement communication and documentation practices that create radical transparency within and outside our team
  • Develop communications that brings awareness and desire to our user community
  • Design, implement, and sustain practices that ensure our objectives and intent are well documented and visible to all


Help our customers embrace the change and be ready to seamlessly transition to the new system
  • Conduct stakeholder analyses and create education and training materials to ready users
  • Manage end user support, gathering user needs and feedback and triaging them for action and response


To be successful in this role, you should be able to bring transparency and collaboration to a large, multi-disciplinary organization. To do this you should leverage a strong background of project, program, and change management expertise to create frameworks for how we should work in the most effective manner. You should possess strong written and verbal communication skills to share clear and succinct messages. This person should also be highly organized and able to implement techniques to incorporate that organization across the team.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or military experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in Project Management, Program Management, or Change Management


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Project Management Professional, or similar, certification
  • At least 2 years of experience in a Risk Management related role
  • Experience with Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) systems
  • Ability to create outcomes across a wide range of stakeholders through influence and teamwork
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail, including the ability to impart those skills to a broad team
