The Production Manager shall be responsible for the supervision, overall administration, and coordination of workflow, priorities of work, and required services.

  • Serve as point of contact for all creative services, including all details that require approval from the KO.
  • Keep the COR informed and updated on all creative services.
  • Manage all costs, track spending, and implementation of cost control, include estimating, negotiating, and agreeing to budgets and timescales for the life cycle of this contract.
  • Perform daily interaction with customers and vendors to ensure required needs are met in a timely manner.
  • Oversee all EMC projects, like Agency Videos, Training Videos, Public Service Announcements, Interactive DVDs, Conference Recording and DVD Services, Record Live Media Events, Fabrication, Branding, Television Programming, and Documentaries.
  • Responsible for timely completion and submission of contract deliverables.
  • Provide timesheet training to new employees.
  • Monitor and approve employee timesheets in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Participate in company meetings, briefs, and audits as required.
  • Maintain quality management efforts for the program/projects in accordance with Chenega company policies and procedures.
  • Create and implement standard operating procedures for production operations and ensure that these are followed.
  • Ensure personnel adherence to all established health and safety procedures.
  • Implement and enforce quality control and tracking programs to meet quality objectives.
  • Determine, recommend, and implement improvements to applicable policies and processes.
  • Ensure efficient collaboration and coordination between relevant departments, including procurement, distribution, and management.
  • Work closely with EMC's Director on the direction of the organization's operational goals and priorities.
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Master's degree in his or her related field of expertise
  • 6+ years of relevant production or project management experience to include the experience of running an organization of similar size, scope, and complexity as the EMC
  • Background check required and must have the ability to obtain and maintain a secret clearance within 6 months of hire

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Ability to pass customer security requirements.
  • Possess strong leadership skills.
  • Ability to respond in near real time to government requirements.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with time related constraints in a fast-paced environment.
  • Working knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, presentation software (MSWord, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), and Outlook.
  • Must be well organized, an effective communicator at multiple levels and able to grasp system concepts and communicate their applications.
  • Must be capable of quickly learning new systems and associated applications for proficient execution of tasks.
  • Speak effectively before groups of internal and/or external customers or employees
  • Possess a high level of integrity and accountability.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays if required to meet operational needs.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% as requested by customer.
