Phoenix Cybersecurity is looking for a UI/UX Designer to join our client delivery team. This is a remote, work-from-home position. A location is specified because it's a requirement of the job posting platform, but you can work from wherever you want, anywhere in the continental United States.Responsibilities:Collaborate closely with UX and product designers, engineers, and product stakeholders to clarify opportunities, requirements, and constraintsDeliver user story mapping, wireframes, and high-definition visual designs in an Agile product development processWork alongside our development team to translate design concepts and basic wireframes into full-fidelity designs for web-based applicationsUse quantitative and qualitative data to continuously improve and iterate on the user experience and present multiple options to stakeholdersDevelop and use components and style guides that develop patterns and easily adaptable workflows for iterative product designParticipate in internal reviews to provide thoughtful and constructive feedbackDevelop visual brand language and communicate recommendations to executives and project stakeholdersMaintaining component libraryAdvocate for interaction design best practices with a focus on consistency and usabilityRequirements:Ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance, which requires US citizenship and passing a 7-year background investigation5-7+ years of UI/UX design work experience, preferably including technical products for both technical and non-technical usersStrong experience with data visualizationsA portfolio that demonstrates superior design skills and ability. Web app focus is a plusExpert in Microsoft Office Suite and design softwareExperience with large-space projects and working in tandem with a dedicated team of developersExperience using web analytics data to inform design decisionsStrong experience using methodologies such as Agile and Lean UXAbility to work independently on an assignment and as a member of a teamStrong knowledge of HTML and CSSExposure to and experience with APIs and one or more programming languagesStrong understanding of the end-to-end UI/UX lifecycle and design principles and processPreferred qualifications:Cybersecurity Operations and/or Incident Response experienceBachelor's degree in Art, Graphic Design, Computer Science, or a related disciplineShadow DOM experienceExcited by the opportunity and challenge of being a lead and can play both at the strategic and tactical/executional levelsCurrent with the latest UX and UI trends, techniques, and technologiesExpertise in interaction design with a strong understanding of accessibility and modular designProficient in all aspects of software and user interaction designAbility to present projects and status reports to senior managementExperience with security coding guidelines, 508 compliance, and web accessibilityPhoenix Cybersecurity is an equal opportunity employer and complies with Executive Order 11246, Section 503 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, the Vietnam Era Veteran's Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), all amendments to these regulations, and applicable executive orders, federal, and state regulations.
