Tracking Code CCDC-21-0138-F Job Code 21-0138 Posting Title Acquisition Specialist Post Date 2/1/2021 Full Time / Part-Time Full Time Travel Negligible City Edgewood State MD Country US Description ACQUISITION SPECIALIST (CCDC-20-0138-F): Bowhead seeks an Acquisition Specialist to support the Combat Capabilities Development Command Chemical Biological Center in Edgewood, MD. The Acquisition Specialist will develop requirements such as, but not limited to: Service Contract Approvals Requests (SCAs), Performance Work Statements (PWSs), Statements of Work (SOWs), Statements of Objective (SOOs), Labor Category Descriptions, Justification and Approval Documents (J&As), Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCEs) and Quality Assurance Surveillance Plans (QASPs), Acquisition Plans (APs) and Acquisition Strategies (ASs). Requirements Minimum 3 year experience preparing government acquisition documentation such as market research, Performance work statements, Acquisition Strategy, Quality Assurance Surveillance, sole source justifications, determination and findings. Knowledge of federal acquisition methods and techniques and extensive knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Grant and Agreement Regulatory System (DGARS) (preferred). SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Must be able to obtain a security clearance at the Secret level (possessing an active Secret clearance preferred). US Citizenship is a requirement for a Secret clearance at this location.
