By doing this, we will Change Lives Together, every day and everywhere.ROLE SUMMARYThe Area Director influence, inspire, and lead at every level by building behaviors to own the Nandoca and Guest experience while driving results that allow for sustainable growth. They have a proven track record of people development and can drive operational excellence for their region. The Area Director will oversee 6-8 restaurants and work through their General Managers to ensure staffed and stable teams are engaged and deliver an excellent guest experience. Lead Your TeamPartner with General Manager's to ensure there is a pipeline of future leaders to assist in the growth and turnover in current and future markets.Responsible for keeping the culture of the region alive and ensuring they have the resources and support needed to have staffed, stable, and engaged teams.Work with the People Team to identify future leaders by effectively hiring, training, coaching for internal and external openings in current and existing markets.Responsible for having a customized development plans for each General Manager and give real time, honest and direct feedback to address any ongoing performance opportunitiesReview and validate development plans are happening at every level of within the regionConsistently provide feedback, coaching and communicate disciplinary actions, as required to ensure accountability to Nando's standards and policies.Communicate in a clear, effective, and professional way to navigate and resolve situations.Manage Your BusinessDisplay complete knowledge and ownership of Nando's food safety and operational standards to ensure a safe guest and Nandoca experience.Work with Central Support to implement planned maintenance and minor capital projects for the region and addressing issues, risks and opportunities that have been identified during property inspections and condition surveys.Conduct regular restaurant visits to identify opportunities for improvement and partnering with General Manager in the implementation of solutions.Take overall accountability for understanding the trade area, brand standards, marketing and guest experience provided in each of the restaurants and how to prioritize the region's biggest opportunities.Partner with the General Manager's and Marketing team to support marketing plans while driving like for like sales growth.Address and resolve Guest complaints that have been escalated from General Manager level.Ensure an excellent Guest experience and sharing results and action plans if needed with the team.
