This position will be a key contributor to recruiting, hiring and training the best team members possible.ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities:Processing payrollDaily time and attendance and human resource information system (HRIS)Team member recruiting and on-boardingTracking of trainingSetting up and maintaining the personnel files and employment bindersBenefits and worker's compensation administration while ensuring compliance in federal and state employment lawsQualifications:High School degree/GED required; Associate degree preferredTwo (2) year experience in a human resource generalist roleTwo (2) year experience preferred in assisted living, home health, full service, hospitality and or skilled nursing industriesDemonstrated knowledge in federal and sate employment labor lawsAbility to handle multiple priorities and perform tasks with frequent interruptionsPossess written and verbal skills for effective communication and the ability to facilitate small group presentations and trainingsCompetent in organizational, time management skillsDemonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skillsProficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel) with the ability to learn new applicationsMust enjoy working with seniorsSunrise considers the health and safety of its residents, family members, and team members as its highest priorities.
