SummaryLidl US is currently seeking an Employee Relations Specialist to join our corporate headquarters HR family. The Employee Relations Specialist will also provide support to the Employment Law department in areas of Diversity & Inclusion and unemployment cases. This is the perfect opportunity for someone looking to take their HR career to the next level or perhaps even build a career within HR.What You'll DoProvide support for tracking, reporting, and analysis to the Regional Employee Relations Partners for internal case management, corrective action, exit surveys, and stay surveysConsult with Employee Relations Partners and other departments such as Benefits, Compensation and Classification, and Legal and Compliance to assist employees within the organizationAssist the Employee Relations team with projects and the identification of process improvements and efficienciesCollaborates on Diversity & Inclusion initiatives and projects including mentorship, affinity groups, events, and trainingParticipate in the development of surveys, policies, focus groups and presentations for the Employee Relations TeamAct as the point of contact for the unemployment claims process and drive management training and claims analysisManage the Reasonable suspicion drug testing programTrack and prepare appropriate communications for employee departures, organizational changes and other departmental projectsWhat You'll NeedAssociates Degree in Human Resources or related fieldIn lieu of degree, 2+ years of human resources experience will meet the education and related experience requirements listed aboveWorking knowledge of federal, state, and local employment lawsProficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Working knowledge of HRIS systemsAbility to work independently with supportive directionStrong organizational and analytical skills with a keen attention to detailAbility to gather, analyze, and synthesize information and data from multiple sourcesAbility to prioritize, multi-task, and adapt to changing prioritiesAbility to handle confidential information in a highly professional manner and escalate issues when ap-propriateAbility to communicate effectively with a variety of constituent groups such as senior management and peersPrior experience in Employee Relations and/or Diversity and Inclusion PreferredWhat You'll ReceiveAt Lidl, we know that in order for our people to do their best, they must be at their best.
