JOB SUMMARY: Responsible work involving the recruitment and orientation process for various departments for UM Upper Chesapeake Health. Duties include, but are not limited to screening applications, scheduling and conducting interviews, making employment offers (in partnership with the HR Business Partners) and scheduling orientation. Leads virtual recruitment by acting as system expert and collaborating with vendor to create events and troubleshoot issues. Collaborates with internal marketing department and external vendors to post and advertise open positions, upcoming hiring events, and internal employee engagement. Builds strong relationships with local workforce development partners, colleges, and universities. Partners with HR leadership for executive recruitment positions. MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Education & Training: Bachelor's degree required. Work Orientation & Experience : Minimum two (2) years' experience in a Human Resources setting, with specific experience in recruitment. Working knowledge of the principles of interviewing and selection with general knowledge of all applicable laws. Working knowledge of computers and their applications. Previous experience with marketing and advertising on social media preferred. Skills & Abilities: Ability to: a) handle multiple tasks simultaneously, b) speak in front of small audiences, c) communicate effectively orally and in writing, d) maintain confidentiality, e) create reports from a database or spreadsheet, f) ability to travel to off-site recruitment programs and meetings, e) promote recruitment initiatives via social media Demonstrated skill in: a) excellent customer service, b) attention to detail and follow-through, c) matching applicant strengths and skills to the appropriate position.
