User experience designers leverage this platform to create new ways of engaging key personas and accounts as they learn, try, buy, and adopt our software.The Web Marketing UX Designer will focus on evolving our corporate website prospect and customer b2b experiences in collaboration with Product Management, Web Strategy, Digital Technology, Web Operations, IT Development, and Brand teams. A typical day could consist of research interviews, building out UX flows in Figma, partnering with stakeholders to better understand their business needs, creating UI, or observing users as they navigate your prototyped designs through a test and learn process.We're looking for someone who has refined aesthetic and interaction sensibilities, a strong team spirit, and is passionate, curious, and results-driven. The designer will be involved in identifying opportunities, designing prototypes, getting buy-in from stakeholders, creating visual design specs, collaborating with front-end developers to build experiences, and QA leads to ensure quality. In addition, they will leverage our foundational design system and create a scalable design that can continually be built upon and leveraged by the extended ecosystem for consistency.The Web Marketing UX Designer will:+ Analyze and gain deep knowledge of our key personas and customer journeys for each of our solution areas+ Act as a customer experience champion, ensuring quality controls are in place to ensure delivery of highly relevant and personalized experiences for key personas+ Facilitate business stakeholder UX/UI feedback sessions and performance data reviews+ Conduct user research and data analysis to understand and identify customer behaviors, challenges, needs, and desires+ Maintain familiarity with proven user experience techniques and trends that can inform the overall digital product+ Establish standards for best-in-class UX/UI+ Manage and evolve our overall UX/UI Design System+ Communicate design standards to the larger organization+ Define standards for prototyping, testing, and result communication based on data+ Work closely with developers to ensure new experience implementations meet design intentRequired Skills:+ Bachelor's degree or relevant experience in UI Design/Product Design+ Minimum of 3 years of hands-on in UI Design/Product Design work+ A portfolio demonstrating proficiency in visual UI design, with examples describing the challenge, process, solution, and outcome with references to research, testing, and thought processes+ A strong UI design aesthetic; education/training in UI design or equivalent experience in producing visually strong UI design+ Front-end UI coding skills; some experience coding their own UI designs+ Expertise in Figma (or Sketch) for creating basic designs and prototypes, while being proficient in higher fidelity prototyping tools such as Adobe XD+ Capable of both advocating for the user while understanding where to compromise to meet business goals+ Self-motivated, capable of adapting quickly to a fast-paced environment and managing several projects simultaneously, working in rapid iteration+ Experience gathering input from end-users and conducting or participating in usability testing and needs-finding research+ Outcome-focused team player who is comfortable with daily standups and is actively engaged in the full process to define and deliver the solution+ Able to understand the short-term and long-term goals of a project and has the patience to work with the cross-functional team and a large set of stakeholders+ Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills; the ability to communicate complex interaction concepts clearly+ This job requisition is not eligible for employment-based immigration sponsored by VMware.\#VMwareMarketing**Category :** Marketing**Subcategory:** Marketing**Experience:** Manager and Professional**Full Time/ Part Time:** Full Time**Posted Date:** 2021-07-23VMware Company Overview: At VMware, we believe that software has the power to unlock new opportunities for people and our planet.
