Do you have 1-3 years of government consulting experience, and an interest in learning more? ARServices is seeking a full-time, highly motivated Junior Grants Management Analyst to join our project team supporting transitioning service members and veterans. In this position you will be helping to establish new grants programs, learning the full spectrum of policy and operational elements of a significant grants program throughout its life-cycle Principal Duties + Provide grants management process support including pre-award, award, post-award, and closeout phases of the grants management lifecycle process + Conduct research on grants programs, service providers, IT systems, and agency-specific and government-wide policies and systems related to grants + Analyze alternative courses of action and develop recommendations + Coordinate and schedule meetings, prepare meeting materials and take detailed meeting minutes + Develop briefing and option papers + Draft documents such as input into government regulations, guidance documents, grant applications, etc. + Create report template and collect, analyze, synthesize and report data of program performance + Provide support to grant recipients via email and/or phone + Review documentation, maintain electronic and physical files, create and maintain spreadsheets and databases Requirements + At least 1-3 years of experience in a corporate office environment, preferably consulting support to the Federal government + Knowledge of laws, regulations, policies, program objectives, governing the administration of federal grants, cooperative agreements, and awards and/or experience in supporting grants + A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university + Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook and SharePoint + Team player and a willingness to take on tasks in any area of need + Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to progress multiple tasks simultaneously + Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing + Attention to detail and good problem-solving skills + Initiative, curiosity, and desire to learn and grow in government contracting ARServices is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce, including protected veterans and individuals with disabilities.Powered by JazzHR
