Independently, or in collaboration with the Mid-Corporate Relationship Manager, responsible for originating, structuring, negotiating and executing the most complex transactions with little to no supervision, including but not limited to commercial lending to include acquisition finance and bridge underwriting, investment banking and capital markets transactions, treasury management products, derivative hedging and other non-credit related products. Will also manage the credit quality of an assigned portfolio of loans. Has significant client interaction and provides recommendations on decisions related to managing the portfolio. This includes synthesizing industry and economic trends and the analysis of the financial performance of individual customers and underwriting of credit products and operating exposures. Works with clients directly to understand credit needs and represents the bank in developing and maintaining client relationships. Continuously looks for opportunities for revenue generation and cross-selling products and services. May or may not have revenue generation goals. Manages and promotes the maintenance of a portfolio that adheres to all applicable credit policies and compliance requirements. Responsibilities will also include training, supervision and mentoring of credit analysts and junior portfolio managers. In partnership with Mid-Corporate Relationship Manager(s), directly leads the credit approval process with Corporate Banking, Wholesale Credit Risk and Senior Management.Position can be located anywhere in the Wells Fargo East Coast footprintEmployees support our focus on building strong customer relationships balanced with a strong risk mitigating and compliance-driven culture which firmly establishes those disciplines as critical to the success of our customers and company.
