Vector Security Networks is hiring for Talent Acquisition Specialist in Gainesville VA/ Remote. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates to fill organizational roles and supporting the organization's recruiting efforts by establishing and maintaining a pool of potential candidates. Utilize and stay current with social media, job boards and current trends in sourcing. Works with hiring managers to understand roles and what qualities candidates must possess to best fill that role.Main Responsibilities Include:Source and recruit talent for open positions and build pipeline of talent for the company.Creates job postings that are professional and attention grabbing to attract the right candidatesPost jobs in application tracking system and disposition jobs in system. Ensure postings are current and accurate.Places job postings in various outlets (ie indeed, Glassdoor) to recruit potential applicants. Reviews other avenues (LinkedIn) to source candidatesUtilizes social media and other evolving technologies to effectively source the best candidates.Works with outside sources to diversify sourcing channels and maintains positive relationships with various recruiting sources such as colleges/universities and outside placement agencies (when necessary).Possess a thorough understanding of the vacant role and how it fits within VSN framework to assure that only the most qualified candidates are presented to managementAttend meetings with hiring managers to learn about, plan and discuss the position s to be filled and what qualifications are needed for each opening.Screens and interviews qualified applicants for the role being applied for.Why Join Us?Two-time winner of Dealer of the Year from SDM Magazine, two-time winner of the Police Dispatch Quality (PDQ) Award, and multi-year winner of the Central Station Operator of the Year Award from The Monitoring Association.
