The **Head of Solutions Architecture - Americas (AMR)** will influence and advise a community of architectural leaders who align the technical practices and investments to sustain GVCC's ambition to be recognized as a thought leader for Video Collaboration (VC) globally, empowered by the landscape of new products and solutions. The overarching purpose of this role will be to continue to build a forward-looking blueprint for technology improvement focusing on innovation and process improvement informed by customer insights, while delivering actionable recommendations to ultimately help the VC Business Group (VCBG) achieve its business objectives through new services and products that leapfrog its competitors.This role will focus on evangelizing Logitech's rightful position as the industry thought leader for customers rationalizing the Hybrid work environment. The Head of Solutions Architecture- AMR will participate in a quarterly advisory meeting of solutions architects and sales/solutions engineers across the VC organization globally to align with critical areas of need (assessment and direction), consult on disparate systems, integration, and road map (address gaps). The Head of Solutions Architecture (AMR) will be responsible for defining and building with peers and the Global Head of Solutions Architecture, GVCC a solutions architecture and sales engineering community in the AMR region. You will serve as the organization's technical leader, acting as both an information resource to executive management in AMR regarding existing performance/capabilities, as well as a key source of customer insights for the VCBG. This person will provide executive management with a grasp of its future capabilities and technical potential to drive business value for VC in AMR.Additional areas of impact and involvement include, but are not limited to, Logitech Advisory Boards (LAB), external presentations (thought leadership and product evangelism), and technical recruiting.The successful candidate will be a seasoned Sales Engineering leader or Architect with experience leading sales engineering teams. The Head of Solutions Architecture (AMR) will have experience managing distributed engineering communities that have responsibility for selling software,services and hardware, while defining growth strategies through product innovation.This role requires an outstanding leader of people.**Your Contribution:**Be Yourself. In this role you will:+ Collaborate with the VC sales engineering manager (AMR) technical sales community to define and maintain customer insights+ Execute the strategy for competitive differentiation required for the product innovation roadmap+ Partner with VCBG to provide customer insights that influence technology road maps, make assertions about technology directions, and determine their consequences for the technical strategy+ Influence the product/technology's performance management team to identify performance issues, consulting with technology leads regarding work priorities, and systems performance cost - benefit analysis+ Team with GVCC Sales Engineering regarding future platform and technology issues and the effect of these decisions on the market+ Provide consulting support in the identification and development of competitive product strategies to maintain and enhance product differentiation in the marketplace+ Act as a partner to the Sales Engineering community by evangelizing, communicating, and distributing technical information+ Build relationships with other product groups to ensure common strategy+ Contact and develop relationships with third party developers; explain potential interface with existing products, providing insights into the possibilities of multi product/technology-based solutions to complex technology issues+ Customer meetings and presentations+ Prepare and present to the global head of solutions architecture and at conferences, both internal and external+ Collaborate with the CX organization leadership to drive better visibility into customer support and Logitech VC technology adoption+ Write and review white papers on technical aspects, future, and/or architecture of products+ Support infrastructure and operations of services, while balancing the importance of security, deployment, and management of services**Your Skills:**For consideration, you'll bring the following skills and behaviours to our team:+ 7+ years of sales engineering leadership AND roles in leadership of services, sales, or customer advocacy businesses responsible for driving enterprise technology solutions into Fortune 1000 and/or SLE institutions globally+ Experience as a senior manager leading a geographically distributed team+ Demonstrated ability to leverage technology to come up with innovative new solutions that have scaled, as the company has transformed into new ways of delivering value to customers.+ Ability to work with product leaders and influence the business and product outcomes using technology+ You should prefer building and growing teams versus maintaining what already exists+ Track record of goal achievements in an intense, fast-paced, rapidly changing and results-oriented environment+ An innovation mindset: Be willing to always try new things, make bets, and take calculated risks+ Excellent knowledge in technology and platforms with an emphasis on APIs, Android, Linux, Data, architecture, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence DevOPs and new technology initiatives_Logitech is the sweet spot for people who are passionate about products, making a mark, and having fun doing it._ _As a company, we're small and flexible enough for every person to take initiative and make things happen.
