Freeman connects people to a universe of opportunities that create a spark, build understanding, and inspire action.**Summary**As an integral member of the communications team, you will serve as a partner to the organization and create critical content strategy support while driving employee engagement. The ideal candidate can grasp and support a wide range of concepts and projects using critical thinking skills with strong project management chops.Internally, you will provide critical content strategy support with executive-level communications as well as content leads and publishers across the business for organic, grassroots engagement. Externally, you will strengthen the corporate reputation, brand equity, favorable recognition, and market value of the company through strategic and tactical reputation-building communications programs.The communications manager is a collaborative and supportive team player who enjoys working in a busy environment, thrives on producing content and collaborating across multi-disciplinary roles, and can juggle complex tasks and projects with an effective and impactful approach.**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**+ Work closely with stakeholders to develop, execute, and measure internal and external communication strategies+ Drive employee engagement and culture while maintaining corporate reputation through strategies aligned with the company's purpose and client-centered business strategy+ Develop tools, communications strategies, and resources to help leaders effectively translate their initiatives into relevant messages and action for their teams, the wider organization, or industry at large+ Day-to-day management of intranet including creating and managing structure, setting content strategies for business content, maintaining homepages, keeping an eye on activity/analytics/chatter, training users and content owners, and refining strategy and future vision based on performance and analytics+ Contribute to external communication strategies and tactics including media relations and response to inquiries, position statements, key messages, Q, news releases, and engagement+ Research new platform and partnership opportunities for internal engagement and media amplification+ Support development and execution of change management strategies. Stay in tune with external and internal environment for potential threats to successful change implementation and adapts strategy.+ Collaborate with other communicators to develop a coordinated and holistic approach to internal and external communications that builds trust and confidence with key stakeholders+ Promote, uphold and reinforce the company's brand standards+ Perform other duties as assigned**Education & Experience**+ 8 - 10 years of experience in corporate communications, preferably working in a business-to-business environment+ Possesses strong content visualization acumen+ Experience in change management communications preferred+ Excellent communication skills with strong experience including writing, speaking and active listening+ Ability to identify priorities, create communications plans, manage projects and project teams, and successfully execute to achieve objectives+ Prefers working in a collaborative, cross-team capacity.
