An employee in this class is permitted flexibility and the exercise of independent judgment in providing key services needed to carry out departmental line and staff responsibilities.Essential Functions:Cash Disbursements: (CAC only) Ensures timely payment of invoices on a twice-monthly basis and emergency payments on an as-needed basis.Reviews purchase orders, invoices, code to appropriate account.Ensures proper documentation and approval for all payments.Inputs data related to invoices and check requests in the accounts payable portion of the accounting system.Obtains required signatures, and mail or otherwise distribute the checks.Cash Receipts - (CAC only) Ensures timely and accurate deposits of all receivables.Records all income, codes to appropriate funding source. Inputs data related to revenue in the accounting system.Reporting and General Finance Ensures timely and accurate financial reporting.Prepares monthly general ledger and income statement for each grant.Helps assemble information for annual audit.Performs regular reconciliation of project management, client assistance database, to fiscal.General Duties:Demonstrates a positive role model for others by maintaining the highest level of professional and ethical behavior throughout interactions with both internal and external customers.Attends work regularly per assigned work schedule and in accordance with Agency policy.Uses technology for the completion of specified job duties.Attends and participates in in-service training, staff meetings and other activities to facilitate professional development.Works cooperatively with others including all staff, supervisors, administrators, co-workers, community professionals, clients, vendors and the public.Follows instructions and abides by Agency policies and procedures.Assumes other duties, responsibilities and special projects as neededSecondary Functions:Works cooperatively and effectively with Agency volunteers maximizing the volunteers' experience while meeting the needs of the programs.Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
