Analyst, Americas Operations Finance
Our Finance team serves as a critical business partner responsible for managing all global activities related to financial performance, accounting, tax, forecasting, risk management, and asset management. What will I be doing? As the Analyst, Americas Operations Finance FP, you be an integral part of the FP team creating reports and performing analyses on the financial and operational results of Hilton's managed hotels across North and South America. The Analyst will develop an understanding of the workings of Hilton's hotels and the impact on the P while contributing to the efforts to drive the forecast and budget processes over the course of the year. Outputs will include forecast/actuals reports, presentations, and ad-hoc analyses. The successful candidate combines effective communication and efficient financial, analytical, and technical skills. More specifically, you will: Prepare and consolidate weekly hotel forecasts into meaningful consolidations that provide insight on the outlook for the estate, while ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of reports Support monthly Americas Operations Finance financial reporting processes and procedures to ensure accurate and timely delivery of reports, and regular review and analysis of results Create, improve, and maintain key financial and business metrics reports, dashboards, and scorecards Provide data management and analytical support for the annual budget process Perform ad-hoc project analyses and respond to questions What are we looking for? We believe the success in this role will demonstrate itself through the following attributes and skills: Strong attention to detail Ability to work well under pressure and efficiently handle multiple, concurrent demands and appropriately prioritize responsibilities Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to learn new concepts quickly and thoroughly, comfortable asking questions and challenging assumptions Exceptional critical thinking and both quantitative and qualitative analytical skills with the ability to utilize logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications: High School Diploma/GED One (1) year of experience in financial planning and analysis, financial reporting, operations analysis, or equivalent experience in finance and/or accounting Advanced-level Microsoft Excel Skills It would be helpful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions: BA/BA Bachelor's Degree One (1) year of experience within the hospitality industry Experience with analytical tools such as Tableau Experience with Hyperion, Oracle PBCS, and/or Smartview What is it like working for Hilton?
