Chimera Enterprises International is seeking a Database Analyst to assist The Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Defense (JPEO-CBRND) with Contractor Logistics Support (CLS), to include Performance Based Logistics (PBL) services. The Database Analyst is responsible for the full operability and availability of the Logistics Information Systems (LIS) and plans and manages system installation and updates. Actual duty locations vary and may be CONUS or OCONUS. This position requires a Secret clearance. Responsibilities: + Responsible for full operability and availability of the LIS. + Plans and manages system installation and updates. + Manages supporting efforts of Chimera and teammates. + Provides LIS training to contractor and Government personnel + Facilitate the readiness and availability of all database repositories by providing administrative and engineering database support technical services. + Setup and create databases, maintain database services online, implement backup/recovery methodologies, add or remove users, and maintain security permissions. + Responsible for database software installation on servers, update software patches and release upgrades + Install and configure client database software on workstations. + Conduct testing and deep scan health reports on all database instances, preventative maintenance + Maintain database monitoring, identify, avoid, resolve database integrity or bottleneck issues. + Database tuning, performance optimization and data realignments + Database engineering design and planning consistent with software development life-cycle + Hardware and software administration of database platform equipment Required Qualifications: + At least 10 years of Database Analyst experience without a related degree. + BS/BA in computer science, engineering, math, business or physical science and 5 years of specific experience in database and logistics information systems. + An MS/MA in computer science, engineering, math, business or physical science and 3 years of specific experience in database and logistics information systems. + A minimum 5 years of experience with a related BS/BA degree, 3 years of experience with a related MS/MA degree, or 10 years of experience without a related degree working as a database analyst supporting complex military systems logistics with locations both within the Continental United States (CONUS) and outside the Continental United States (OCONUS). + Must demonstrate an understanding of Supply Chain Management including Requisitioning, Stocking and Reporting, Warehousing, Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) materiel and Calibration support, Inventory and Shelf-Life Management, Government Furnished Property Management, System Configuration Management, Engineering Support, Warranty Management, domestic and international Shipping and Customs, International Laws and Compliance, International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITARs), and addressing and mitigating Obsolescence issues and Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) for military equipment and systems. + Experience with ensuring the operability and availability of Logistics Information systems; experience with utilizing such software applications as IBM's Maximo(R) asset and material management software. + Experience in planning and managing system updates to LIS. + Experience in providing LIS training. + Generate reports via the LIS for, but not limited to, Product Support Assessments and Analysis, Asset Visibility and Availability, Inventories, Work Order status, Engineering Analyses, Systems and Equipment Performance Calculations, Warranty Status, OEM Support Agreements, and Consumables Usage. + 5 years of experience providing advanced Database and Application server administration support to a mission production environment and development. Experience may include but is not limited to: + Database and Application server troubleshooting, installation, upgrade, performance tuning, development support, scripting and producing documentation. + Familiarity or background in software development using mainstream programming or scripting languages + 3 years of experience in database development, maintenance/support, and query support for software developers; to include writing stored procedures and triggers + Must possess a Secret Security Clearance. Preferred Qualifications: + Experience working with Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and High-Yield Explosives (CBRNE), Force Protection Defense Systems, and/or First Responder systems and equipment deployed/fielded to the US military. + Able to perform startup of LIS for Logistics Operations for global system support. A clear understanding and comprehension of the Defense Departments Unique Identification for equipment to include Unique Identification (UID) and Item Unique Identification (IUID) and, the Army's Property Book Unit Supply Enhanced (PBUSE) system.
