Our US Department of State team on the Janus IV program provides all the Voice and IT Services for the approximate 285 Embassies, Consulates and Posts. These services and personnel are critical to the completion of the US Department of State's worldwide "Mission of Diplomacy.) These personnel support the onsite Embassy personnel by providing, operating and assuring critical voice, video and collaboration services for the full spectrum of their diplomatic operations. AT has an opening for a Network Administrator Senior to support the Networks, and Voice/IT Systems, in providing on going world communications . Job Duties/Responsibilities: Sets up, configures, and supports internal and/or external networks. Develops and maintains all systems, applications, security, and network configurations. Troubleshoots network performance issues and creates and maintains a disaster recovery plan. Recommends upgrades, patches, and new applications and equipment. Provides technical support and guidance to users. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Performs a variety of tasks; may provide consultation on complex projects and is considered to be the top level contributor/specialist. Required Clearance: Top Secret (#topsecret) Required Qualifications: Previous DOS Foreign Post Telephone experience. Willing to travel internationally. Provide Subject Matter Expert (SME) skills to support FPT technical services requests for Tier 2 and 3. Performs as Team Lead for Priorities Coordinator, Call Managers Deployments & Statement of Verification and Testing (SOVT) Support. Ability to manage Wi-Fi Deployments & SOVT Support, RadioNet Deployments & SOVT Support. Familiar with New Embassy Compound (NEC) Information Programs Center (IPC) Moves, and Call Managers Deployments & SOVT Support.
