What You'll Do Reporting to the Director of PTG HR, the Senior Human Resources Manager and Business Partner will support client teams in the Power Tools Group. The Sr Human Resources Manager will work with business leaders to develop and execute HR priorities that enable the business to achieve its goals and foster a meaningful and fulfilling employee experience. As an organized and results oriented leader, you will successfully collaborate across global teams and functions both within the business and within HR. You will create, execute and improve upon both strategic people initiatives and tactical processes. You will diagnose issues and influence long term solutions and outcomes. This is a hands-on role, requiring you to roll up your sleeves and engage and execute on needs both large and small. On a daily basis you will collaborate across groups, interact with and influence all levels of the organization, provide coaching and counseling, plan and project manage. You will balance competing priorities and conflicting opinions and facilitate the best decisions for both the business and the employees in an environment of ambiguity and rapid change. In addition, you'll also get to: + Act as a primary point of contact and support to assigned teams within the Power Tools Group employee base, providing guidance, service, information, problem-resolution, or channeling to appropriate center of excellence for support. + Provide ongoing support for departmental reporting needs, including data analysis and recommendations. + Work with Managers, employees, and Legal counsel to navigate and manage employee relations and immigration cases. + Guide the interpretation and application of company policies in compliance with state and federal requirements. + In collaboration with TA, facilitate hiring activities across all categories (Intern, Early Career, Experienced, Stanley Leadership Program) including partnership with Managers and Talent Acquisition, candidate interviewing, and facilitation of new hire orientation and on-boarding activities. + Provide both guidance and execution, identifying opportunities to enhance all HR programs and initiatives. + Lead ongoing employee engagement activities; drive new ideas into the business, support the year-round engagement strategy, and provide execution support on assigned projects. + Drive and execute the diversity and inclusion strategy, including participation in Employee Resource Groups and influencing employee base to engage in D activities. + Assist the HR Director with organizational design, development, planning and creation of HR processes to build organizational capability for the Division. + In collaboration with Internal Communications team, develop, format, and finalize HR communications utilizing Microsoft Office suite of tools, especially PowerPoint and Excel, along with other communication materials for use across PTG groups. + Other projects as assigned. You also have: + Bachelor's Degree required (prefer HR, Business, Communications, or related field). + 8+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a high tech, engineering or fast growth environment. Inclusive of: progressive and successful HR generalist and business partner experience, including recruitment, employee relations, data reporting & analysis, coaching and development and engagement and performance management. + 5+ years' experience driving organizational change initiatives and developing talent management plans for a global organization. + Previous employee relations and talent assessment experience. + Depth of pragmatic experience with compensation planning, negotiation, and implementation. + Demonstrated achievements in coaching, influencing and problem solving. + Strong judgment and expertise in assessing management and executive talent + Broad experience and specific knowledge of human resource theory, including employee relations, learning, and performance management. + Experience in delivering high quality tactical HR activities under tight timelines and minimal supervision. + Excellent customer focus and ability to provide timely follow-up and follow-through. + Ability to build effective relationships across all levels and collaborate across reporting lines. + Ability to navigate the unknown, finding information, answers, and solutions by navigating internal and external channel. + Executive presence and professional demeanor. + Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately + High self-motivation and strong organizational skills. + Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and HRIS software + Ability to travel as needed to build relationships and meet business needs (up to 25-30%) What You'll Receive You'll receive a competitive salary and a great benefits plan: + Medical, dental, life, vision, wellness program, disability, 401(k), Employee Stock Purchase Plan, paid time off and tuition reimbursement. + Discounts on Stanley Black & Decker tools and other partner programs.
