To learn more about Berry, visit**PURPOSE:** Administer HR policies and procedures in one or more of the following areas: Payroll, Benefits, Employment/Recruitment, Employee/Labor Relations, Policy Administration, and Training.**Responsibilities**1. Assist in the administration of payroll and all payroll support activities.2. Compensation and Benefit Administration.3. Manage and track attendance and leaves of absence to include FMLA administration.4. Records Management, Attendance, Training Documentation, and data entry.5. Support hiring activities through applicant phone screening, testing, interviewing, reference checks and job offers.6. Support New Hire Orientation and new hire on-boarding to promote employee retention.7. Administer hourly work scheduling and tracking.8. Promote positive employee relations. Resolve employee complaints and support company activities and employee recognition events.9. Support employee training and development and performance management.10. Provide coaching and counsel to employees, supervisors, and managers on company policy, conflict resolution, and appropriate disciplinary measures.11. Manage unemployment claims and attend UI hearings.12. Maintain data and ensure accuracy of information in the Human Resource information System (Infinium/Kronos)13. Analyze Data, prepare reports and make recommendations to management.14. Special Projects.15. Increase job knowledge and professional development through ongoing education, training, and special projects.16. Perform other duties as assigned.**Qualifications**1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.2. 4+ years of related HR experience.3. Strong understanding and knowledge of employment law and common HR standard concepts, practices, and procedures. Proven ability to apply HR best practices to support organization goals and values.4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.5. Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.6. Strong organizational skills with proven ability to meet deadlines and complete multiple tasks simultaneously.7. Must be proficient with MS Office, including Word, Excel and Powerpoint.8.
