If so, we would love to talk with you regarding that next step in your career.This upcoming Sr. Accountant/Budget support role is an opportunity for you to help guide the government as they go through accounting and budgeting cycle.The Sr. Accounting/Budget Mgmt position responsibilities include but are not limited to:+ Support the administration of the Managers' Internal Control Program IAW FMFIA, OMB, GAO, DOD, Army, and ASA(ALT) directives and guidance+ Assist in the preparation of all MICP appointments of AUM, ICA, and ICE+ Coordinate and track MICP training for all PMs, and MICP appointments+ Provide support for the Statement of Budgetary Resources Audit which includes:+ Receive audit samples+ Distribute correct fund holders+ Reviewing provided packages for completeness and compliance with standards+ Research and coordinate documentation of the financial system+ Support the Federal Transaction Registers Audit packages+ Support the quarterly Joint Reconciliation Program (JRP)Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:+ DoD Audit Policies & Procedures to include:+ JRP, Dormant Account Review (DAR-3 Q) Tool, RMIC, DoD Audit Readiness.+ Experience in the day-to-day resolution of ULOs, open invoices, UMTs, IDOC, sales order errors, open commitments, and open collections.+ Experience in monitoring and providing updated status on actions for regularly reporting to ASA(ALT) ARD+ Experience in historical fact finding for audit sampling+ Supporting clients with audit related needs.+ Strong admin support of multiple tasks including:+ gathering responses from information requests+ quality control/configuration control of documents+ formatting and ensuring all aspects follow agency guidelines+ Bachelors Degree in Accounting+ A minimum of 15 years experience in accounting+ A minimum of 5 years in government budgetary systems+ US Citizenship and a Secret Clearance or higher per contract requirements.Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:+ Excellent interpersonal and people skills.+ Excellent oral and written communication skills.+ Strong analytical and thinking, documentation and design skills.+ Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.+ Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.+ Detail oriented and demonstrated ability to achieve goals and objectives with minimal direction.+ Ability to thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment and operate under stringent deadlines.+ Master with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and SharePoint."Outstanding Performance Always"Our corporate motto represents our commitment to build long-term relationships with both our clients and our employees by providing the highest quality service in everything we do.
