Responsibilities

The individual will work as part of a team, leading entry level staff and preparing designs for transportation and infrastructure projects including development of horizontal alignments and vertical profiles, drainage systems, and completion of construction and right-of-way acquisition plans for a variety of project types (design-build and design-bid-build) and multiple clients.

Required Skills & Required Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (with emphasis in Transportation)
• Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) is required
• Minimum of 2-5 years of experience
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Proficiency using MicroStation, Geopak and OpenRoads required
• Experience working on VDOT format plans
• Working knowledge of VDOT standards
• Proficiency in MS Office software
• Desire to work in a team environment
