Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire a part-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing. We are seeking LPNs (Licensed Practical Nurse) to provide care consistent with our mission and values to serve the Southern Maryland/PG region. Including: Bowie, Andrews, Upper Marlboro, Fairmont Heights, Suitland, District Heights, Oxon Hill, Temple Hills, Capital Heights, Clinton, Fort Washington, Waldorf, Marbury.
(Based on our client needs, employees may be required to cover additional territories and drive a maximum of 60 miles a day)
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
• Completes documentation requirements on patient visits to ensure timely accurate billing
• Contributes to the patient's physical and environmental assessment
• Makes appropriate interventions to provide for safe and effective care
• Collaborates with RN case manager and other team members to maximize effectiveness of patient care plan
• Collaborates with managers and schedulers to maintain adequate productivity levels
• Maintains accurate load sheet to facilitate agency knowledge of visiting capacity
Qualified candidates will possess:
• Valid LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) license in Maryland
• Minimum of two years' experience in Med/Surgical nursing within the past five years (Two years must be under the supervision of an RN)
• Valid American Heart Association CPR Certification
• Valid Driver's License with agency insurance requirements

Work Schedule:
M-F day shift, 8 hours with monthly weekend and holiday requirements as needed
