Let your imagination take flight supporting the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD). Looking to find work that stimulates your mind, challenges your skills, and satisfies your curiosity? MIL currently holds several multi-year contracts with NAWCAD in the areas of Cyber, C5ISR, and Information Technology systems.

Summary

The MIL Corporation seeks a Systems Engineering, Director to support our Defense Business Operations, in Southern Maryland. The Systems Engineering, Director will support Strategic Program Decision Support & Analysis. In this role the incumbent would be responsible for working to build business within NAVAIR and NAWCAD.

Key Duties
  • Coordinate corporate priorities, lead the capture management process, and drive business development communications
  • Develop opportunities in new market areas and/or expanding MIL services to our existing customer base
  • Capitalize on business acumen and interest in helping MIL grow into new areas to expand our support of War Fighter programs

Required Qualifications
  • BA/BS in Engineering
  • 30+ years of Systems Engineering
  • Experience working in leadership roles within major program offices building strategic road maps and defending them at all levels within the Navy.
  • Possess knowledge of warfighter needs and the ability to relate them in an integrated systems of systems architecture to ensure that desire mission outcomes are achieved.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Thorough understanding DoD Acquisition Process
  • Ability to analyze ACAT (1-4) programs and provide guidance on best approach for their successful execution.
  • Knowledge/Ability to conduct analysis of Naval Aviation warfare mission areas including AoAs.

Desired Qualifications
  • Experience and knowledge working within the Pentagon successfully implementing strategic program plans.
